Despite the challenge of having to bring steel beams nearly 6 meters long through a first floor window from a narrow street, and having to make last minute adjustments to the structural engineer’s plans, Graham and his team did an excellent job.

They were friendly and professional, and their work was excellent. They even finished ahead of schedule, and the site was left spotless. I would recommend them highly.

When the project started Graham was on hand to explain how they were going to approach each stage (3 buildings to completely re roof) so we knew exactly what to expect. We have lived in France for 10 years and have known Graham 6 of them. We first used D&G Building Services to make a bathroom in a holiday home in the Charente Maritime. This needed real ingenuity and foresight which Graham has. Their work was clean and precise, built to budget and within the time we required.

We liked the Charente Maritime so much we sold our main house in the Dordogne and holiday home and moved to a new property there and employed D&G to erect an orangery joining the 2 buildings of this new property. His team met all our requests, not just to build the extension but to make several other improvements that we decided we would like.

The team did all the groundworks, building, roofing, plumbing, electrics, plastering and decorating to our satisfaction and to a very high standard. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and nothing was beyond their capabilities. If you have a project you need help with then you should consider using D&G. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

I can only say don’t hesitate to use D&G. We have used Graham for 3 major projects on our house and wouldn’t consider using anyone else. Graham’s attention to detail is exceptional. He will not be satisfied until everything is perfect.

We had to put a huge amount of trust in Graham as we were in England whilst he was working on the house. Every Friday he would provide us with a written update with photos showing the week’s progress.

He is the most conscientious builder we have ever encountered – everything will be done properly with no shortcuts. He has an excellent team of workman who are always polite and friendly and work to Graham’s exacting standards. We thank our lucky stars that we found Graham.

D&G Building Services were recommended to us and we engaged them to do the work during the summer this year. Our property provided a number of obstacles regarding all the plumbing work necessary to create the en-suites, but Graham and his team were not fazed by such tasks and produced four beautiful en-suites which we are highly delighted with.

They also installed an oak beam to support one of the bedroom floors which looks really stunning together with new ceilings in the lounge/dining room. We now have a lovely renovated home which we will be opening very soon as our own B&B. Well done guys!

My brother, two sisters and I inherited a basic but much loved rustic holiday home already in need of some modernisation, but due to the complexity of ownership this took longer to achieve – meet the right builder, acquire estimates, etc – than expected.  Then we heard of D&G Building Services, got in touch and things started to fall into place.

Delivered on time, within budget and the quality was excellent. Even though we were back in Scotland whilst the work was being done we had no worries. Graham kept us fully up to date with progress with weekly emails and photos. Two of our neighbours also asked Graham to do projects for them after seeing the quality of his work. I used D&G Building Service to construct the mezzanine floor of my barn conversion and was very satisfied with the end result.

I had a leak in my terrace which caused water to run into the bedroom below causing severe damage to the ceiling.  Graham gave me extremely good advice on what my options were.  The work on the terrace and bedroom was very good and completed to a very high standard.  

Equally importantly his workmen were very friendly and tidied up completely after the job was finished.  I would recommend D&G to anyone considering major building works on their property. 

You installed our new Leroy Merlin kitchen whilst we were on holiday. You came in on time and budget. It was so nice to come home to such a lovely sight. You are our preferred fitter for kitchens and bathrooms.
